Dr. Georgian T. Mustata
Dr. Georgian Mustata received his medical education in Romania and completed his psychiatry training in Syracuse, NY. He is a teacher and supervisor in psychodynamic and experiential modalities at SUNY Upstate Department of Psychiatry, and a practicing psychotherapist and psychiatrist. Dr. Mustata’ s primary interest is in the long term effects of psychological trauma in adults. He is trained in Dynamic Deconstructive Psychotherapy for Borderline Personality Disorder, Object Relation Theory and Clinical Practice (four years program with the International Psychotherapy Institute), and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy. He is also interested in the integration of religion, spirituality and psychotherapy in clinical practice.
